Vendor comes in to look through our drawings. After flipping a couple of pages he announces,
"Looks like I'm gonna get lucky on the first try!"
to which I reply (with a completely strait face),
"We should all be so fortunate."
then I turned around and tried to go back to work, but ended up instead rushing over to my desk where I TRIED not to laugh too loud but ended up sounding like I was crying instead. Actually, the poor vendor thought I was sobbing until I gave a good cackle and bossman had to tell him I'd completely lost it.

I would love to see you at an open mic. You get up, tell your first joke and run off the stage before you hear the crowd eating it up.

Sensei, knowing what I know about the comedy field, I'm just not funny. I mean, I think I'm funny, and by funny I mean hilarious, and people who know me are perfectly happy to laugh at my antics. But I think we both know that an audience would just stare. That's ok. I'll leave the stand up to you and Dat.
