I can think of a worse pie to be compared to...

You Are Mud Pie
You're the perfect combo of flavor and depthThose who like you give into their impulses
What Kind of Pie Are You?

In the mean time, I scalded myself on hot milk last night and one of my coworkers signed me up to work the Gay Pride Parade, which is funny, except that I am busy that day. Last weekend's bachelorette is getting married. Speaking of the b party in vegas, I forgot to buy her a gift and I feel like a heel.

So, there's this kitty. and she's sick. I think it's because of her flea collar. Those are toxic you know, and in my neighborhood? it likely came from the $.99 store, you know? He fur is falling out and she won't eat. she's a nice little kitty. I don't want a kitty, but I can't do nothing and the best care for her would be at my house since she seems to have been permenantly put out according to her neighbors...I will feel forever guilty if she dies, but I know this is how women become "the crazy cat lady"

There's nothing wrong with being the crazy cat lady. I'm going to be the crazy lady on the corner with a chihuahua ranch when I grow up.

Chickie, have you seen Date Movie?

GM, take the kitten to a rescue shelter or the ASPCA or Humane Society. You don't need the responsibility of another animal while trying to pick yourself up. You know what they say on airplanes..."First put your own mask on then help others."

And remember, you are not responsible for all of the ills in the world. It's Bush's fault...the band, not the President.

Chickie, I figure there is plenty of time to turn into a crazy cat lady after I find myself a husband. Then he's stuck with me!!But I won't grow up, never gonna grow up! never grow u-up! not me.

Nothing like spontaneous song.

I have not seen the kitten for a few days, perhaps her "owner" took her in, perhaps someone else took care of her. I know that I am not responsible fort he ills of the world, but neither can I sit back and allow it to be sick when I have healing abilities.

Michael Jackson once sang, "Heal the World, make it a better place". I know he's a nutjob (and that's putting it nicely) but I do believe that we all have the combined skills to make the world a better place, and even a small kindness to a small creature fosters that. And I think that turning our back on others only serves to harm ourselves.

I had no intention of adopting the kitty. I just wanted to find a way to help her without getting too involved. Or stealing someone's pet. I had only the word on the neighbors to go on as far as her abandonment and neglect.
