Ok, I peeked.
and I found a woman who appears to have grown more beautiful than the last pictures I saw of her. A woman following her dreams. A woman recently engaged to someone who makes her smile. And I thought, good for her. Everyone deserves happiness even if they have caused trouble along the way.

You know, I would. I was already feeling that way when I saw the pictures of her engagement. She didn't mention it in her profile. The engagement was just icing on the cake.
I still believe now what I believed then. That for some reason, she came into our lives and provided a catalyst for the breakup. since I believe that everything happens for a reason, I accept that perhaps we weren't supposed to be together right then. As I grew as a person afterwards, I learned that we weren't so right for each other after all. the healing happened comparitively quick. I maintain that she could have delt with me differnently, but that wouldn't have been her way.
